MathsWorld Trip

Last term, over fifty of our Year 8 and 9 students enjoyed an inspiring visit to MathsWorld, London's first maths discovery centre located on the South Bank. The centre invites visitors to explore the beauty, creativity, and power of mathematics, whether they are lifelong enthusiasts or reluctant engagers.

The students participated in a wide array of interactive workshops, gaining a fresh appreciation for the many diverse real-world applications of maths while building great teamwork skills. They represented the Academy wonderfully, showcasing positive attitudes and an eagerness to get involved.
