September Sunsets

Last month, Head of Photography Miss Spary challenged students across the Academy to capture a September Sunset. We were delighted to receive a record number of entries from all year groups, as well as a few fantastic submissions from our staff.

The winning entry was submitted by Danuta (Year 10). Miss Spary noted: "I am so impressed with Danuta's entry. She has clearly found that special balance between light, composition, and aesthetic appeal that makes for an outstanding outcome. Well done for noticing such a special scene and capturing it!" Congratulations also go to our runners-up, Liana (Year 7) and Agnes (Year 9), as well as Mr Robert, who took home the Staff Prize with a wonderful photo featuring his dog, Willow. We look forward to sharing more creative competitions from our Photography team soon!
