Hertswood Champions League

Competitive spirit was in full force for the Hertswood Champions League, a House football competition that gave students across the Academy the opportunity to represent their Houses and compete for ultimate bragging rights. Organised by our fantastic Sixth Form Senior Team, including Head Students Mustafa, Youssef, and Abigail (Year 12), each House went head-to-head against rivals within their year group, earning points for wins and draws.

After some fiercely contested matches, the final standings have been settled. A massive congratulations to our winning Houses: Darwin for Year 7, Summerville for Year 8, and Nuffield for an incredible double-victory in both Year 9 and Year 10! Special thanks to Leah (Year 12), for capturing pictures throughout the events.

Every single participant displayed excellent sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork, creating an incredibly positive and enjoyable atmosphere. Head Boy, Mustafa, described the competition as a great success, with students enjoying the opportunity to compete, support their teammates, and celebrate their achievements.
