Protect the Future

We were delighted to welcome Louise from Hertfordshire County Council, along with Chris and Tommy from the Hertfordshire Police, for an insightful morning session with our Year 9 students. The visit focused on the 'Prevent' campaign, which provides vital work in protecting vulnerable individuals from exploitation and addressing all forms of extremism.

Our guests were incredibly impressed by the students, noting their exceptional focus and the maturity they brought to such an important subject. This session perfectly complements their current work in Literacy, where they are exploring 'Terror Kid' by Benjamin Zephaniah. The novel offers a powerful look at justice and the complex choices that shape our lives.
