Choir of Christmas Classics

Last week, our talented student vocalists, accompanied by the Music team, visited the Radley Care Home to spread some festive cheer with a special Christmas performance! The 30-minute set, led by Ms Dunne, was filled with classics, including 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' and 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday.'

The performance was a resounding success with the residents, prompting dancing and lots of smiles! Several of our students confidently performed fantastic solos, showcasing their bravery and skill.

Head of Performance Studies, Mr Hobbs, extended his congratulations to the students for their outstanding and uplifting performance. The choir's friendly demeanour and maturity were a true credit to themselves and to Hertswood!

Rachel Wickens, Home Manager at Radley, had this to say: 'I just wanted to thank you, your team and the children very much for the wonderful choir visit to The Radley. Our residents thoroughly enjoyed it. Intergenerational visits are extremally important for our residents and i am very grateful for the time spent here. Please feel free to visit whenever you and the children are able to, you will be very welcome.'
