Coming Together for Mental Health

Through June, the Academy raised money for Herts Mind Network, a fantastic charity supporting mental health and wellbeing across the county. The centrepiece of the campaign was an original song from Executive Headteacher, Peter Gillett -- 'Summertime Eyes'.

Yesterday we were delighted to welcome representatives from Equans, Hertswood's longstanding Facilities Management providers, to present a cheque for Herts Mind Network for an additional £1,500. With this, and the generous donations from the Hertswood Community, the grand total raised was just over £3,500!

We thank everyone involved for their support and contributions. Peter and the Academy continue our charity fundraising efforts with a new song, 'Miracles Happen', in support of Noah's Ark Children's Hospice.
