MP recognition of a great Ofsted report!

After our fantastic Ofsted report which graded the Academy as 'Good' in all areas, which itself followed our best set of GCSE and Sixth Form outcomes, the Academy was delighted to receive a letter of recognition from Hertsmere MP, Sir Oliver Dowden.

'I was delighted to learn that the efforts of the fantastic staff at Hertswood Academy have been recognised by Ofsted. I know that the team at Hertswood Academy work hard to make sure pupils receive an exceptional education.'

We are grateful to Sir Oliver for his longstanding support and many visits to the Academy, including visiting our A Level Government & Politics students during his time as Deputy Prime Minister, and congratulating our highest-achieving students individually on their outstanding results.
