Year 13 Leavers 2023

On Friday 23rd June Hertswood celebrated the end of an era, with our Year 13 Leavers' Celebrations. Their leavers' assembly included photos of every student to see how they had changed since Year 7, and presentation of awards they voted for, including ‘Most likely to run the country’ and ‘Best double act’. A video trip down memory lane included old photos and videos, as well as memories the students wanted to share.

The assembly included a special thank you to those students who had stepped up and supported their peers and who had been such excellent role models to younger students. This included photos of students at the robotics competition, running the Biology Club and helping out at school events.

Miss McFerran, Head of 6th Form, spoke to the whole year group and commended the resilience many of them had shown over the years. She highlighted the importance of this resilience to their future successes and wished them lots of luck for the future.
