Back to the Future!

The Drama department was delighted to give thirty Hertswood students a stunning and memorable experience on Monday night, when they attended a performance of 'Back to the Future' at the Adelphi Theatre on The Strand. Students from Years 7 to 10 revelled in the time travelling exploits of Marty McFly and the ensemble, and witnessed spectacular set designs and original songs. 

Luke (Year 10) said 'When I first saw the show, I thought the staging was immaculate. My favourite part of the production was when the DeLorean car thrust out into the audience and spun around. The show was funny, and it has given me lots of ideas for my drama exam'.

Thank you to Miss King, Mr Zarinnarges and Ms Jago for giving their time up to accompany the students on a school night, and the Drama department looks forward to finding more live theatre opportunities next year for our students.
