Girls Rugby Festival

Before the Easter break, a group of Year 7 & 8 students took part in a girls-only rugby festival, their first ever competitive experience of the sport after having been taught in lessons by Junior Sharks coaches.

The group got really stuck in despite the wet and windy conditions and learned a lot from the experience. Special shout-outs go to team captain Danielle, who supported and encouraged her peers, and to Sophie, who was so fast that no defenders could get anywhere near her, allowing her to score an array of tries.
