World Book Day

Members of our English faculty spent the day dressed up as literary character to celebrate World Book Day. Students were able to earn House Points if they could identify them around the school.

To further mark the day, students were sent a World Book Day quiz and invited to participate in a competition to design a book cover. All students in Years 7 and 8 received World Book Day vouchers to claim against a free book at WHSmith, and we have begun giving students' access to our new e-library system, ePlatform, which we will share more about in the near future. Posters also went up to promote the books staff members are currently reading in all of the faculties around the school.
