Outdoor Learning Day 2025

A huge thank you to all our Year 7 students and staff for making this year's Outdoor Learning Day such a success! It's fantastic to see this event, now in its third year, becoming a beloved Hertswood tradition. There was a wonderful atmosphere with everyone embracing the wide variety of activities.

The day was filled with fun and educational activities, including a fantastic barbecue from our Food team. Students learned practical skills by pitching tents and planting seeds to promote food sustainability. We also had a thought-provoking talk from a speaker from Greenpeace and got creative with art and music sessions.

We are so proud of our students, who displayed excellent behaviour and great teamwork all day. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
