Macbeth on Stage

Recently, Hertswood was delighted to welcome the fantastic performers from the Quantum Theatre touring company for a production of Macbeth. Shakespeare's dark tale of ambition and the toll it takes was brought expertly to the Academy's theatre.

Year 11 English students are studying the Scottish play as their GCSE text, and the performance brought it to life, with wonderfully choreographed sword fights, and creative use of lighting and shadow play.
