Last week, a group of Year 12 and 13 students attended a London theatre trip to watch an excellent rendition of the novel 'The Kite Runner' by Khaled Hosseini. The book is based around a young boy growing up in 1970s Afghanistan, which they are studying in both the Literature and Language/Literature A Levels.

All students had a superb time and were a real credit to the school. The play was a powerful and visual experience and there were not many dry eyes by the end!

'The Kite Runner theatre performance was an enjoyable and immersive experience, and was an honourable adaptation of Hosseini’s original book. It translated many of the novel’s central themes well, such as identity, redemption, and conflict.' -Freddy (Year 13)
