World Book Day 2024

Yesterday, we embraced the joy of reading with a fantastic World Book Day celebration. Many Year 7 students, Sixth Form students, and staff showed amazing creativity with their book-inspired costumes. Posters were also put up on classroom doors to show the book each teacher is currently reading.

Students brought their favourite books to life with 'literacy bunting', showcasing their reviews and illustrations, and a scavenger hunt had everyone guessing which staff members were dressed as which character.

The award for best student costume will be announced next week. Thank you to everyone who dressed up and made World Book Day so special!
