Week of Art 2024 - Mia

This week we will be showcasing the works of individual artists at Hertswood, starting with these outstanding pieces by Mia (Year 13).

'Mia has shown herself to be a reflective and diligent artist, which has resulted in some exceptional outcomes. I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing her skills develop through both talent and hard work!' -Mrs Getley, Head of Art

'My passion lies in painting in oils, where I heavily lean into the themes of reflection, water and nature. I'm especially proud of my surface outcome which combines portraiture and water. Going into university next year, I am applying to Sociology courses, however I will continue to pursue my passion for art!' -Mia
