Practical Study of Motor Vehicles

It was a productive first day for our Year 10 and 11 students taking on their Level 1 Motor Vehicle course.

The morning was theory based where students learnt about health and safety as it relates to work with motor vehicles. They explored the responsibility of the employer and employee, the requirements of basic health and safety registrations, and attempted to identify hazards and safety procedures.

The afternoon involved a tour around the GoKarting track, linking it in with the wide array of theory they had discussed. There was of course time at the end of the day to have a few races on the track, which they all very much enjoyed.
