Year 7 Football Starting Strong!

Our Year 7 football team's first match was in the County Cup against Parmiter's School. Playing away against a school renowned for their football ability, the boys managed to secure an incredibly 3-0 victory, moving on to the next round!

Right from the start, the team showed great tenacity and played with intensity, which the opposition could not compete with. Considering it was their first game together, the pattern of play and their positioning was outstanding.

The first goal was a great team effort, starting from the back and knocking the ball around to put Austin through on goal, and he didn't disappoint! Rhyen got the second with a penalty, sending the keeper the other way. Lloyd scored the third with a great run, showing strength, speed and composure to work the ball past several Parmiter's players and even the keeper to pass it in.

The victory was fully deserved. Well done to the team!
