On Thursday 6th July, a group of Year 10 students visited the University of Nottingham for the 'Girls Into Electronics' event. This included a variety of electronic engineering activities, a tour of the University's facilities, and hearing from some graduates in the field.

"The event was a very insightful opportunity into careers in the engineering sector. It showed us different opportunities available and the lifestyle of those who picked this career path. At first I thought I wasn't interested in the topic, but it was really helpful to give it a try, and it was a great chance to see what university is like.

"We got to explore the many cool inventions made by students and I really enjoyed trying to code! I think that the day was very beneficial in broadening our choices." -Tanzima (Year 10)
