Published Mini Sagas

We are proud to announce that a group of Hertswood students from across the year groups have been published in the new book by Young Writers, 'Integer: Numbers of the Imagination.'

Students were tasked with writing a mini saga in exactly one hundred words, which is a challenging proposition. The works also needed to include a beginning, middle and end, and be inspired by a number. The group worked hard outside of school to produce their sagas, with Miss Ogle, KS3 Coordinator and Library Lead, on hand to provide resources and feedback.

Thanks to their effort, Hertswood Academy has its own chapter in the published book, which is available in our school library, along with other books in which our students have previously been published.
