Fairtrade Fortnight

Fairtrade Fortnight is an annual celebration of all things Fairtrade. Our Year 9 learned more about the important topic with 10 different stations set up, each with a different related activity. These ranged from videos showing the positive impact of trading fairly, to analysising the process of chocolate production and who is involved.

Students looked at a variety of products supplied by the Co-op to see what Fairtrade means and how it makes a difference globally. The groups enjoyed learning more about these issues, but enjoyed eating the chocolate at the end of the lesson even more!
