As part of the 'Lessons from Auschwitz' project, Miss Price and a small group of A Level History students travelled to Auschwitz for the day, to visit the town of Oswiecim (renamed Auschwitz by the Nazis), the work camp and the death camp Birkenau.

"The day was a huge mixture of emotions, listening to stories from survivors and those who were killed, as well as seeing the camps and the artefacts themselves. The students were extremely mature, contributing to discussions and asking questions throughout the day. It was an incredibly moving and informative visit and I know both I and the students took a lot from it." -Miss Price, Head of Learning and Teacher of History
