Matilda Trip

Last week a group of thirty students, from Year 7 through to Year 11, visited the Cambridge Theatre in Covent Garden to see the superb musical, Matilda. Most of those who went along were Dance and Drama students, as well as some members from Hertswood's Dance Club.

For some of the students, this was the first time they had ever been to a real theatre, and the response was overwhelmingly positive, including being amazed by the impressive building and the scale of the production.

The Performance Studies team would like to thank the students' parents for supporting them in participating in the trip, and the team at Hertswood for making the trip possible. We look forward to many more visits to outstanding performances in the future!
